Lana Del Rey and Emeli Sande

For Christmas i got many amazing presents, these included Lana Del Rey's Born To Die: The Paradise Edition and Emeli Sande's Our Version of Events. Both these Cd's are absolutely incredible and i cant stop listening to them :)

Although i have to say many of the songs are similar, they all have something different or special about them which means that i like them all. I don't think i actually skip any of the songs when listening to them, which is quite rare for me when listening to a CD (i get bored easier ahaa) Some of my favourite songs have to be Off To The Races, Video Games, Summertime Sadness and Ride. I also love the fact that there are so many songs on the Cd's; however, i am slightly annoyed that they're on two separate disks as, at the moment, our iTunes is playing up so i can only listen to them on my laptop, so as i am lazy, it takes effort to change the disks. If that's the only real fault that i can come up with about this CD i think it suggests that it's a pretty good CD :)

I don't think i have anything bad to say about this CD at all, it's so amazing and beautiful. I literally love everything about it, all the songs, Emeli has such a perfect voice. Some of my favourite's have to be Heaven, Mountains, Clown, Next To Me, Wonder, Beneath Your Beautiful (I LOVE Labrinth too :D) and Imagine. If i was going to have to say something negative about it, i think it would be that i feel there needs to be more upbeat tracks. Obviously that's not criticising how the CD is just needs more songs added to it ;) ahahaa

NEW YEARS EVE

New Years Resolutions

Its nearly 2013 so i have decided this year i am actually going to make and try (so very hard) to stick to some New Year's Resolutions :)

1) Get a complete makeover (not sure how I'm going to do this one)

2)Start a regular exercise regime (easier said than done)

3)Try a bungee jump or similar 

4)Get a tattoo 

5)Go on a date

6)Buy something obscenely expensive (sort of contradicts number 14 ahh well)

7)Write a letter to someone and actually send it

8)Travel somewhere you've never been before

9)Start a new club (e.g. dance)

10)Stress less

11)Drink more water

12) Stay positive

13)Save money

14)Eat more healthily
15) Be more organised

You may notice that some of these aren't a normal sort of resolution, I'm going to give myself to the end of my gap year (that means i have until the end of 2015 i think and hopefully I'll have more of an idea of what i want to do then) to complete the list seeing as some of them would take longer (e.g. i cant get a tattoo until I'm 18). Some of these have been inspired by 'The Single Girls To-Do List' by Lindsey Kelk :)

Christmas Outfits :)

Hope you all had awesome Christmases :D

today I'm just going to share with you my two Christmas outfits (Christmas day and boxing day).

  My Christmas dress is from boohoo and i posted it in a previous post (my wish list post).

My heels are from New Look and i loved them so got them for my school dinner dance.

My Boxing Day outfit wasn't as dressed up but here it is. Both top and jeans and shirt are from new look (i did warn you before that most of my wardrobe is from New Look). (notice my awesome penguin phone case in the first picture ;) isn't it cute).


So yeah these are my two Christmas outfits. I know this wasn't the most interesting post but there's not much going on in my life at the moment other than revision for my January exam (eeekkk) and seeing people so yeah.

My bedroom

Decided to show you a few of my favourite things around my room :)

its not very big so it dont have many things to show you but here they are:

i love my pinboard and have been collecting various things such as tickets to put on it for years then i decided to make my 'dream' peace of wall art out of cardboard and put it there because i think it looks goddamn cool :p

 i made these out of, im not really sure what it is, some foamy thing that came in a box for a photo frame, then covered them in tissue paper and wrote these inspirational words on them. they are underneath a shelf in my room and i really like them as i think they look pretty :)

Pretty, frosty weather

It was all pretty and frosty this morning so i decided to take some pictures 

(we can pretend its snow because then it's more Christmassy) ;)

Make up and Nails

My current nails and make up :)

Recently i have tried out two new make up products and two nail varnishes that i haven't worn before so i thought i would share them with you :)

First up, my nails

I have used Barry M Instant Nail Effect 319 Foil effect nail varnish (the silver one) as a base coat and then Barry M Glitter 349 Rose Quartz Glitter.

I really really LOVE the glitter nail varnish and will definitely be using it throughout the Christmas season and maybe carry on after that because i really think it makes any old colour look amazing :)

Next the two new make up products that i wanted to try...

First up, the Maybelline master precise liquid eyeliner

I really wanted to try some liquid eyeliner as I've always only used a pencil and borrowed a liquid eyeliner a few times and really liked it.

i love Maybelline make up products so decided to give this a go and i really like it! its so easy to use and stays on so so so well :) its amazing and i would definitely recommend it! 

Next up, the Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express Mascara

The past few months (maybe longer) i have been using Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara and have really loved it as it gave my lashes good length (no really ;) ahaa) but wanted to give a different one a go. this falsies mascara is really good as does extend my lashes and give them volume it great but so far I'm not really seeing much difference between the two Maybelline mascaras but as they're both good i cant really complain :)

So yeah those are just my views on a few new products that i have used recently, hope it was helpful or interesting or something ahaa
